Russ Athletic (Russell Kent) is an ex competitive gymnast who competed from the age of 10 until 18yrs old. He then went on to coach gymnastics for 3 years at Fromside gymnastics club and Bristol Hawks gymnastics club.
After gymnastics Russ enjoyed many sports such as amateur boxing and amateur football. He currently enjoys working out 6 to 7 days a week in the gym, focusing on strength and conditioning.
Russ has been a personal trainer for over 12 years, 10 of those in Clifton College sports centre. He has trained hundreds of clients in that time ranging from 5yrs old to 80yrs old, and has a lot of experience and expertise in weight loss, flexibility, core, strength and conditioning. Russ has also trained many women throughout and after their pregnancies.
During these 12 years Russ has trained many clients to be fit and ready to fight in boxing bouts, join the military and has recently helped train a young man to get into the England men’s hockey team. Russ also helps clients with rehabilitation of injuries and Parkinsons disease.
Russ Athletic is a fitness instructor for various reasons such as weight loss, weight gain or injury recovery.
Some prefer personal 1-2-1 training and others like to train in groups. It can be as private as zoom training sessions or as intense as a boot training camp!
